Prosthetic bridges rebuild missing teeth using the patient’s other own teeth. Prosthetic bridges are made of two elements – pillars and a span. The pillars are two or more tooth crowns that are attached to the patient’s properly ground teeth, located between the tooth gap. Spans, in turn, are tooth crowns connected to pillars to be inserted in place of missing teeth. Prosthetic bridges are permanently attached and thus give greater comfort than removable dentures.
